Okay, I’ve succumbed to the peer pressure, I’ve installed Ruby on Rails and I’ll even use it for this site.

I stated in an earlier entry on installing the excellent Rublog that I may be simply delaying the inevitable move to Ruby on Rails, and I was right.

Rublog is a great web site system and has many interesting features.

One of my requirements when looking for a blogging engine was to have the engine pull the content from the file system.

Now that we’ve got Ruby installed, we can use it to write CGI scripts.

The hosting provider for this site is HostingPlex.
