It’s wild to me how time passes, and that the 9/11 attacks took place 25 years ago.

Somehow, and against all odds, I managed to complete Blaugust 2026.

Since 2008, I’ve been primarily a Drupal developer, focused on the front end and site building side of things.

With the end of summer approaching for most of us in the Northern hemisphere, I wanted to share one of my favorite things about summer (and living in Florida): the beach Every year I go with my family to Anna Maria Island, a beach town near Bradenton/Sara…

Tomorrow is the start of another season of college football.

I have a weird affinity to keeping “streaks” going with apps and games and other things.

People are a bit shocked when I tell them that I get up every day at 4am.

While driving to the celebration of life this past weekend, I always take state roads from Tampa to Tallahassee.

I was out of town this past weekend, for a celebration of life for my grandmother who passed away back in mid July.

I previously shared about my four cats, so to keep Blaugust going while I travel this weekend, I thought I should share some pictures from them at their uhh…most cat.

I’m out of town for the weekend for a celebration of life (more on that probably next week), so this post is coming to you from the future OOoooooOOo.

Since switching to Apple Music from Spotify, I’ve started totally fresh with what they recommend.

In response to a birthday wish blog post by Michael Klamerus, I’m going to talk about an obscure game from when I was a kid - Operation Inner Space!

When I - somewhat impulsively - decided to attempt Blaugust, thanks to an idea from the always amazing Aubrey (gotta love alliteration), I wasn’t really sure how much I would actually do.

I recently read an article about a new app called EasyDMG, that solves a huge annoyance when working on a Mac and installing something from outside of the App Store - the .DMG Basically the process is: Download the .dmg file Open it and drag the file to y…

I don’t really collect a lot of things, but one thing that I do collect is soccer scarves.

Do you ever have a dream where you wake up and some fact or thing just keeps rattling around your brain and when you wake up, you are convinced it’s either totally true or the best (or worst) thing in the world and you just have to do something about it?

I’ve lived in Florida my whole life (other than a brief 3 months stint in New Jersey for a work thing).

As I’m a cat person, I figured that sharing a pic and some info about my four cats might be something that folks enjoy (the internet does love cats after all).

Back in June, I traveled with my family to Atlanta to attend a World Cup game.

I was reading Mark Zuckerberg’s AI treatise and the thing that I can’t get over with all of the people who are so in love with AI is the general loss of humanity that embracing AI brings: AI makes us more productive - Great, so we offload tasks to a robot…

My son starts high school this week, a bizarre sentence to type that I’m sure any parent can relate to.

I like to spend my weekend afternoons watching TV, and lord knows I have enough streaming services (like most people) to be able to do that.

I spend most of my driving time or when I’m outside doing yardwork listening to podcasts, so I thought it might be worth sharing what is on my weekly rotation.

I love weather.
