Notes from the Burrow

I started working full time again this week and some of the downtime I used to have in the past disappeared as work took over that but I still had a few moments I wanted to write about.

This week went by in a haze.

I was sitting outside on the deck of an Airbnb we had rented in Whidbey Island, in front of me, out of my laptop, the “Rocky Road to Dublin” by The Dubliners was playing.

This week, I decided to keep some notes about what I’ll write about in this post and it will be a bit different than the previous few weeks.

This week was fully of job related activities like applying for some places, interviewing at a few (will reveal more about this once I’m farther in the process) and just prepping for interviews too.

Continuing week 2 of jotting down what I’ve been up to and thinking out loud.

In an effort to document my life, the things I do throughout the day, and just kind of see where my time goes, I decided to start documenting my routine.

When I was working full time, I would have this burst of motivation and energy overtake me and often on days when I was really busy with work so I couldn’t get away to work on my own projects.

Internet commenting and interactions are pretty rough to moderate, so I didn’t want to have open comments on all my posts.

In the winter the night comes early so reading in bed is nice.

I was walking with my dog today at the park, and Samson was just running ahead of us for a little bit.

I just got back from my trip to Portugal, and I wanted to jot down some thoughts about my overall experience.

I’m starting my 3 week trip to Portugal today.

I have been working in an office in my basement.

We went to the edible plant sale in Portland today.

The weather this spring has been swinging between cold and warm more than previous years.

Last year, I started learning how to sew.

I was eating a watermelon today, and the one I had was about a week old.

It’s always cold in the burrow.

In the past few weeks I have been slowing down on trading a lot partly because I’ve been suffering a lot from holding things at very high entry prices like HOOD and RDDT.

I’m still here!

On Friday morning, my internet went out some time in the middle of the night.

I didn’t make as many trades this week mainly due to an internal thought process I’ve been going through.

This week’s trades were mostly rolls due to most things jumping after the no tariff news.

I want to start sharing thoughts, wins and losses related to my options trading and I want to start slow and see if there’s any value for me and others to see this info.
