I really thought I was going to have a load of time through August as the month started.

Continued my efforts last weekend of working out Blender workflows for the abstract styles I used to make in c4D. 1st up my "oldschool" style that I have been doing some variation of for a long time.

I've had a busy last 6 weeks or so, probably something to do with getting married and then a honeymoon (it was great btw, some photos from the honeymoon of Sweden's High Coast to come when I get a chance to compile them).

After the failure of March I am back up to a new piece per month this year!

So I failed in my "make at least one piece of art a month this year" goal already.

After a bit of a burst of activity and motivation in January, life took over again for most of February leaving me very little time to do much.

Mozilla is in a state We have known the likes of Meta and the Entity Formally Known As Twitter have not been serious organisations for a long time (not that it stops them from causing enormous harm), and through the course of the last two years Microsoft…

New Art - Leaving Chiark I managed to find some time this weekend to do a little art and so finished off a piece I started back in May last year allowing me to tick off January for goal 1 of my creative goals for 2026.

Lets work less.

And wintery days Following on from my last post I took my camera with me when I popped into town at the weekend to top up our supply of decaf Yorkshire Tea from Malmö's British shop (a vitaly important thing to have around the house).

Malmö's wintery nights It has been a bit cold and slighty snowy here recently and so I have taken my camera out a couple of times, once (before it snowed) just on a walk to test if it was possible to get anything ok handheld at night on it, and once more…

New Wallpaper - Threading The Needle Following on from my last post I have managed to find the time to put together something new in 2025 so I am finishing the year the way I intend to continue through 2026.

Creative Goals for 2026 I have never been one for new years resolutions, being of the opinion that if you want to make a change in your life do it when you think of it, not waiting for some arbitary date to re-assess.

Random update time Well October was a month, it started off with IT issues at work which left me without a usable account or laptop for most of a week, followed by catching Covid the next week and sort of went downhill from there.

Sumer Travels We had a late summer holiday this year, with it happening near the start of September.

RSS Feed Now With Images Its been tricky, it inolved a lot of time trying to understand better how Astro (which I build my blog with) works.

Cruelty didn't leave with the tories.

New Wallpapers So in effort to to entirely miss another Portfolio Day with no new art, and as I have some free time while I am between finishing my old job and starting my new one, I actually sat down yesterday afternoon and opened up C4D.

A consistent name I figured I needed a consistent name for these little updates about everything posts.

RSS Feed Update.

Touching on a few things A sort of scattergun blog this time.

The Doctor is more than family fun Like, I imagine, most Brits I have seen my fair share of episodes of Dr Who.

We will all need to change.
