nicoco's blog

Daniel, le développeur de Quicksy l'a annoncé sur mastodon: il n'est plus possible de s'inscrire sur quicksy.im.

Engligh readers: apologies, this post is somehow France-specific, so I did not bother to translate it to English.

…on nicoco.fr, because Slidge now has its own blog.

Thanks the testers and bug reporters, slidge version 0.2.0beta0 is out!

Howdy, fellow instant messengers!

There are quite a number of online guides about how to hide your real IP and/or access online services your network provider normally does not allow (but it needs to allow WireGuard, which is not always the case).

Fellow bridgers, if you're reading this, it means that I have finally gathered the motivation to write this long due "Slidge progress notes" blog post.

Isn't it nice when computers let us use whatever weird colors, workflows, keyboard bindings, or child sacrifice we like to use, instead of forcing us into a one-size-fits-all "intuitive" UI?

It has almost been two months since I announced slidge beta0.

After one year and a half of development, including a very long pause, a few rewrites, and thanks to my summer vacations, I am proud to announce the release of slidge version 0.1.0-beta0.

Today is my last day of vacation for this summer.
