Last Tuesday (Sep. 1) I attended the WordPress Meetup Curitiba #87 and gave a talk about what’s new in WordPress 7.1.

On August 11, 2026, the #86 meetup of the WordPress community in Curitiba took place, in an empanadas restaurant, which was a great way to restart the community events!

On August 15, 2026, I and Rodrigo Ghedin hosted the Site com Café (Homebrew Website Club Curitiba) #12 meeting at Go Coffee Botânica, from 10am to 12pm.

On July 25, 2026, Rodrigo Ghedin and I hosted the Homebrew Website Club Curitiba #11 meeting at Temporal Cafés Especiais, from 10am to 12pm.

On 29 July 2026 I organized the third WordPress Brasil Meetup Online about Hands-On WordPress AI, which was focused on bringing together people from the Brazilian community to share examples on how they use WordPress and AI in their day to day.

On June 20, 2026, Rodrigo Ghedin and I hosted the tenth Homebrew Website Club Curitiba meeting at Go Coffee Botânica, from 10am to 12pm.

On 27 June 2026 we had the second WordPress Brasil Meetup Online, which was focused on bringing together people from the Brazilian and Portuguese communities who went to WordCamp Europe 2026 to share a little bit about their experience.

Since WordCamp Brasil 2025 and my participation in the 45th WordPress Meetup Belo Horizonte, the idea of organizing an online meetup to bring together the entire Brazilian community stuck with me.

Today I ran into a confusing issue in a LocalWP site: I changed a PHP file inside a symlinked WordPress plugin, but the browser kept showing output from the old version of the file.

I’ve been using Firefox as my main browser for a lot of years (including on my smartphone, where I use Firefox Focus), but lately it feels like using it is very slow, specially with a lot of browsers open, and the same issue happens with some websites too…
