I’ll keep this brief, but I’m going to be participating in Product Hunt’s annual Golden Kitty Awards tomorrow, hosted by excellent-haired Substacker Casey Newton, with special guests Josh Buckley, Tiffany Zhong, and Lolita Taub.

After a successful launch of my Alfred Custom Web Searches on Product Hunt, I’ve continued adding custom searches and creating icons to accompany them.

My Product Hunt journey began all the way back in 2014.

Standards represent a state of understanding, more or less at a code or API-level, that multiple parties can agree on.

In the past I’ve had inklings that Silicon Valley was wrong — first about Apple’s AirPods (which just sold 3M units this past weekend), and then about Amazon’s Echo Show (Alexa continues to be at the center of Amazon’s consumer strategy).

Wow, so it’s been forever since I last wrote and there’s been a lot going on.

I’ve never been very good at spamming people’s inboxes because I can barely keep up with my own.
