Chris Beckett's Fiction

Here is another interview with Marty Kurylowicz and Holly Carson about my book America City.

We say we don’t remember the early years of our life.

Cover of Tribal Politics: How Brexit Divided Britain By Sara B.

I’m very pleased to say that I’ve just had a longish short story with this title accepted by Asimov’s SF magazine.

Cover of Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout ‘Most of us are sad,’ doesn’t actually come from this book.

I can’t resist posting a link to this song which has recently been posted on Spotify, written and performed a few years ago by my son-in-law Dupé (the singer), and my son Dom (who played most of the instruments).

This word, used in a political sense, grates on my nerves in the same kind of way as the word ‘problematic.’

I was playing some music while I ate my breakfast.
