This article describes my journey running the build system for the Bun JavaScript toolkit without relying on any of its usual binary dependencies—namely itself.

creduce is a tool to automatically create a minimal reproduction case from interesting code.

I recently worked on making Bun bootstrappable, i.e. to remove the Bun repo’s build scripts’ reliance on a previously built binary.
