On Games And Design

I am a huge fan of Withering Rooms, a weird 2d soulslike (that is NOT a roguelike despite what people say) set in a Victorian horror setting that is way larger and more interesting than you might initially think.

As I've mentioned previously I am constantly on the hunt for new JRPG roguelikes to sink my teeth into, which is when I came across PAN-DAE-MON-IUM, a free roguelike with a great art style and theme.

In a few days it'll be September 6th, my birthday.

Or, how the game is the puzzle is the game.

Or how I decided to scream into the void about how awful the job market is.

If you're not familiar with the latest stuff going around social media, Mixtape has become the 'content creator' of the week.

This is likely going to be one of the more critical posts I write because to put it upfront: I really did not like the design of CloverPit.

Disclaimer: I've backed the game on Kickstarter.

Releasing roughly 5 years after their sequel to Streets of Rage is a game that ultimately I'm sharply divided on.

I was debating on whether or not I wanted to do this now or save it for later.
