Updates from Michael Camilleri

I think @rtfeldman.bsky.social has said that @zed.dev has the best Vim bindings of any editor that isn’t, you know, Vim.

Rowan has always been excited to watch competitive activities.

Free as in speech.

I rode over to the library with Rowan on Saturday to return some books.

It doesn’t look like SuperDuper 4 likes the sparse disk image I was using with SuperDuper 3.

My C->Zig port of the Janet programming language is passing Janet’s test suite without any .c files!

I’m proud to report that Eri and I are not complete parenting failures.

Not to say that @siracusa.social is wrong but I‘m using a coding agent in a Zig project and filled up my disk to the point where I was getting syscall errors saying that there was no space. macOS seemed to handle it like a champ.

As regular readers will have realised, I often try to start these with some comment on the news du jour but I don’t really have much to say at the moment.

I used Claude and Codex to get to a working version of Persimmon, my technically-in-development-but-really-just-abandoned C library for persistent immutable data structures.
