  1. Creeping Featurism :-)

It’s now very apparent to me that it would be cool (indeed, necessary) to monitor the charging current and power supplied by the solar cell array.

  2. So now I’m hooked on Docker containers and I put together a Docker container stack with Eclipse Mosquitto, Node-RED, InfluxDB, and Grafana.

  3. Another Oh-By-The-Way…

It turns out that my original plan to have the lithium ion batteries, that were SUPPOSED to be charged by solar, didn’t work out so well.

  4. The code is working quite well; no real glitches so far (fingers crossed).

  5. Saw this recently in the ether: Precious Computer Age relic turns up in U storage room – @theU I used to be a UNIX sysadmin at AT&T and at one time was part of a team that repaired (chip-level repair) PDP 11 and VAX minicomputer systems.

  6. finally!

  7. AsyncMqttClient testing

  8. Well, at least the hardware is figured out and I’m ALMOST done with the PCB using KiCAD and I will soon send the Gerber and related files to JLCPCB.

  9. I’ve finally added outside temperature monitoring for my garden deep bed using a Wemos D1 Mini I got some time ago.

  10. UPDATE.
