Turtle's Paradise

I spent two weeks in the UK, deciding to take advantage of what may be the last free time I get for a while before my new job starts.

In January, my health insurance became inactive.

We went to a casino resort at the weekend.

I recently finished The Will of the Many which was one of those door-stopper fantasy novels that are a million pages long.

I am currently job hunting.

I realise that, one of the reasons older people are so prone to saying 'the good old days' is that they see, first hand, how much changes and how much is lost.

Two more pieces of progress on the move: firstly, I got a job (a seasonal retail job, so not life changing, but income + routine + meeting new people is all good) and secondly, I had my 'new patient appointment' with my 'Primary Care Provider'.

I spent the weekend dog sitting.

The house I'm living in is full of books.

One of the great (and under-rated) things about America are porches.
