At a thrift store today, an older woman looked at a framed image on a shelf, as I passed.

I’ve been writing, not nearly as much as I’d like, but I’m getting somewhere.

A quick post here to follow up from yesterday.

I have joined a group at Willamette Writers with the purpose of supporting each other in writing this November.

I received the most wonderful-sounding email yesterday.

Hello.

I’m sitting in a coffee shop, writing, listening to two women at the next table say goodbye and how great it was to see each other for about forty minutes.

Can you be grateful for demons?

That pretty well sums it up.

Happy 2024!
