Introduction In the early 2000s, there was a plethora of night vision "pocketscopes" which are small monoculars meant to be handheld or tripod-mounted for nighttime surveillance use.

In my last post, I mentioned two different relay lens systems for image intensified astrophotography (I2AP,) specifically the Ofus/Nvisys GEM-II and the Litton 1x SLR relay for the M944A.

Image-Intensified Astrophotograhy (I2AP) is a technique I seldom see in astrophotography (AP) circles, since the barrier to entry is high (several thousand US dollars for the image tubes) and the resources on shooting I2AP are sparse.
