This was a good week for progress on our code!

I’m trying to get these weeknotes back on track: aiming for a Monday release at the latest.

These weeknotes are pulling into the station a little late, because I’ve been busy starting my new job!

Feeling a lot better than last week, so I was able to do some more Hanakai work.

Been sick as a dog ever since I wrote my last weeknotes, so there’s not a lot to report here except general feelings of uselessness.

Happy first anniversary to my weeknotes!

This week I kicked off our Hanakai sponsorship drive for 2026, and shared an exciting new stretch goal — if we can raise another $15k for this year, we’ll be able to pay an honorarium to our active maintainers.

My main goal for the last week preparing to kick off our sponsorship drive.

I’m almost back to normal weeks again.

Things are slowly getting back into gear after my trip and the last week being mostly for other life matters.

A few weeks ago I joined Jared to record a new episode of his Dead Code podcast, and now it’s out — go have a listen!

Hanami 3.0 is out!

This edition’s a bit late—please grant me an amnesty, as I don’t want to break my streak!

I’ve well and truly entered release prep mode.

This week I got the last big piece done before we can make the next Hanami release.

I finished off Hanami’s streamlined i18n support this week!

A proud moment this week!

One thing I’ve seen in my time on these projects is that the extra help comes in ebbs and flows.

This week we launched Hanakai into the world!

Welcome to a special 🇹🇼 Taiwan Edition of my weeknotes.

Another good week of closing parentheses.

My last weeks on logging represented the last of the major additions I wanted for our upcoming Hanami release.

I completed my Hanami logging improvements this week, and I’m so happy with how it turned out.

I started the week with a couple of releases, thanks to the community contributions I merged last week: dry-struct 1.8.1 and dry-schema 1.16.0.

This week I finished a particularly satisfying piece of work: adding request body parsing to Hanami Action.
