The Review Heap

City Hunter – Lady Vanish!

Blade of the Immortal – Blood of Finality

Like a lot of folks, I was was really looking forward to the Science Saru adaptation of GITS, and it was a blast to finally see the first episode the other night.

Astro Boy – Ivan the Fool / The Wreck of the Titan

So, like most folks, I have a watch-list that’s unmanageable.

Solty Rei – Safe Haven

Princess Resurrection – Princess Sacrifice

Sort of left over from my “12 Favourite OVAs” post, because it didn’t fit the conditions I’d set for myself, is this haunting story – Magnetic Rose, which comes from the ‘Memories’ anthology released all the way back in the 20th Century.

Upon watching A Scare in the Dark the other day (it’s early on in Season 2) I was reminded of just how hard the Kisugi sisters gaslight poor Toshio here, and during the anime in general.
