The Tao of Gaming

I played another game of Merchant of Venus last night, and it has quietly moved up from “Once every few years” to “Two or three times a year is fine, more would probably be fine” on my list.

Recommended Ted Lasso — Strong first season; it’s easy to see why it was so hyped.

But I must admit that I’m pleased that (with today’s post on monster wargames) The 20th Century Project has now covered 100 games (although not necessarily a full article each game).

Anton discusses the Kardashev Conundrum (video) and redefining it via the “Kardeshev-Sagan-Nakamoto” Scale.

Now that I’ve done a (Solo) High Frontier for All game with Modules 0+1+2+4, some quick thoughts.

Last month Bridge Base Online (BBO) announced that it was limiting players to 6 hands a day (unless they subscribed).

I was reading The Zvi’s discussion of the METR report on Hugging Face when another gamer sent me the 3quarks daily article where an AI summarizes the same report.

So … after exploring the contracts it is time to try the “full” module 4.
