The Superdavey Blog

Yesterday I purchased an Apple Watch Series 12 for my wife.

Another round of great product announcements from Apple and yes I have some FOMO with no previous plans to upgrade anything this year.

I kinda like this home screen.

I thought I would make a post to make sure I made it very clear that I plan to keep posting here.

I have checked EchoFeed and it seems that I am paid until February 2027 so I do not necessarily need to make radical changes.

I’ve been a user of EchoFeed to make sure all posts from here (Pika) go to Mastodon and Bluesky.

I’m working hard to break some habits of using tech (again).

I’ve decided to get a Titanium Milanese Loop for my Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Is it possible to write a blog post on my Remarkable?

A shortlisted entry into the Whitlam Institute competition from a student at my school entitled “Surface Feelings”.

Is it crazy for me to think that this is actually a desirable look?

I am really loving my Remarkable, so far it is looking like a keeper and i will be buying my wife her own.

Whilst travelling I ordered a Remarkable Paper Pure and yesterday I picked it up from my parents’ house.

My Pocket Casts subscription is up for renewal so I am trying Apple Podcasts.

The expected tweaks to Liquid Glass are so good that I have set mine to “more clear”/far left and had no issues.

Got on the plane.

Yesterday I captured this great photo of a Red-Bellied Black Snake.

I wang to read more on my phone when my Kindle is not nearby, but the “sync furthest read” just doesn’t seem to work.

Dark icons are more consistent than light, most having a dark background with a coloured object/logo central to the squircle.

I just updated my iPhone to iOS 27 developer beta.

I went for a walk today in Kuranda and was able to capture photos of a crocodile, 2 turtles and a Wompoo Fruit Dove.

It took me some time to get through book one in The Captive’s War Series by James S.

Somehow I managed this photo of my wife’s shoulder that perfectly show my calendar widget on my lock screen.

I really enjoyed this show.

I think I need to stop pointing out my opinion so much.
