Stuffed

We knew we wanted to do a wine tour but we’re not super in love with large tour groups, or crowds, or really people (sometimes).

Instead of having a flat white and a pie we mixed it up with a flat white and a breakfast sandwich (how daring, I know) from the one of the only restaurants in the area.

Instead of hiking the ten miles to Roy’s Peak, we decided to go on five little hikes to break up our longer drive.

We stayed the night in a little cabin in a campground.

One of the biggest recommendations the New Zealand Government (and us) has for driving safely is: don’t rent a car the day after you get to New Zealand.

We originally planned to bungee (or bungy if you use the spelling the guy invented it used) on day 6 but the company, AJ Hackett, called and said they were filming that day.

We left at 8pm from Houston and arrived in Auckland around 5 am two days later.

As we said, we had been happy in Slovenia.

Our final adventure in Slovenia was in and mostly around Kranjska Gora.
