Stu Rides Bikes on Stu Rides Bikes (and does other stuff)

Hello computer people.

Hello internet, it’s been a while!

I haven’t even gotten to the new content but it’s real good.

Now that the weather’s cooling off, I’m getting ready to run a Triangle Agency virtual campaign and getting EXTREMELY PUMPED about it.

We finished the painting!

Old: With lattice removed, after first round of sanding: New: Well it took far more effort than expected but I’m putting a pin in the deck project for this year.

Borrowing from videodante (though I think it’s a fairly common blog thing) I think I’m going to start doing roundups of things I want to share, and Fridays seem like a good day for it.

After burning a day sanding the balustrade I had a lot of time to think about how crappy it is, the spindles just feel wet and rotted to the touch and sanding them I’m scared they’ll just vibrate apart.

Cohost is going away and I’m pretty bummed about it!

If you were curious, currently this site is made using the static site generator Hugo with their beginner template Ananke, hosted on github pages.

Hello friends, I’m hopping on the hot new post-Cohost trend of making a personal webpage and hope you’ll join me for the ride!
