Richard Seroter's Architecture Musings

I’m in Sunnyvale today at an Agentic AI Executive Forum where Google is hosting a couple dozen open source contributors across a wide range of companies.

I’ve been home for a few weeks, which has been nice.

Many of the items today are sobering looks at how we rethink our work.

You’ll build one.

Looking back through today’s list, there’s something that jumped out at me.

My “read this” queue is growing out of control, but I’m chipping away each day.

We survived the SoCal tropical storm and are back to sunshine today.

Happy Friday.

We had a big Gemini event today, and plenty of other interesting things are going on around the industry.

I don’t have a ton of family living close to me, so I’m stoked to have dinner tonight with my visiting brother on his birthday.

I “built” a demo system in the background today while getting my other work done.

I’ve got a lot of AI agent content today.

Bigger list today as I try to clear out the queue.

I’m at the airport waiting to fly home after a day trip up the Bay Area.

Last night, I went to the San Diego Padres playoff game against the Chicago Cubs.

I have 334 apps on my phone.

Many of today’s items encourage us to do more thinking.

Talked to a company today who asked me about some advice they got from another vendor.

Now I’m in Boston getting ready to keynote a conference tomorrow.

I’m in New York City for a day and had fun judging a hackathon conducted by Major League Baseball.

It was a good day, and tomorrow I’m jetting up to Sunnyvale for some fun meetings at Cloud HQ.

I’m back after the holiday weekend and some shenanigans at the San Diego Padres baseball game yesterday.

That’s a wrap on this week.

You’ll find a wide mix of topics in today’s list.

What a week (already) for new LLMs.

I learned a lot today.

It’s unusually hot and humid in San Diego, but that didn’t deter us from being outside this weekend.

I’m not proud of it, but I’ve been drunk on agent skills.

Happy Friday.
