A lot of my posts have been about reducing my use of technology and leading a more analog life.

Lately I've been thinking about writing, or really about posting: where I want to do it, and what I want to say.

It freaks people out to hear my daughter has her "own phone", a fact she is frequently telling everybody, but it is not a cellular phone and it doesn't even have a screen, instead it is a corded phone that lives in my office.

Recently I’ve been kind of sad about the idea that, despite having thousands of pictures of my children, they aren’t recorded on any film negatives at all.

I work remotely but I also have two small, preschool aged kids, I used to have help with them at home but now I don't.

This took me aaaaaaages omg.

I've recently learned that my husband was impressed by my hard drive replacement the other weekend, which is pretty cool.

I can't settle on how (or even if!)

I bought an entry level fountain pen recently, which is something I'd been thinking about for a long time, but I hadn't gotten around to it until a few weeks ago.

It doesn't happen often, but sometimes somebody makes a post here on Bear Blog that I totally hate.

There is currently a trend to reduce screentime in general, and in particular to replace screens with e-ink equivalents as a tool to do it.
