Back in June, I wrote a blog: Shaped by the learner about a month long journey that the AI Co-Creators and I went on.

I am currently coding a small language model (SLM) – basically I am coding some AI to chat to me and use it to demonstrate how AI works – and it should feel fantastic, or it would if all the IDEs were so unnecessarily complicated.

Years ago studying AI at Aberdeen University, a professor – very respected, very senior – engaged me in conversation at a cheese and wine social.

[Part 1: Style me like a Smoggie Queen] The day of the photoshoot dawned hot and sunny.

I can’t believe it.

In 2011, towards the end of a chemotherapy treatment, I’d had enough of wearing a wig.

In December 2022, I wrote three blogs about digital storytelling in which I explored some thoughts I had had about telling our own story.

Well… it’s official!

Well… it happened.

Last night I found myself at New Designers 2026 at the Business Design Centre in Islington.
