Back in London and there’s not a nice walk from my doorstep which is sad.

We had a couple more days to ourselves this week, we took it easy with a few small walks.

We’re up in Staffordshire for a couple of weeks, working part time and enjoying being in the countryside.

A lazy lazy week of lounging around and doing not much.

Earlier in the week my board game group met in person for the first time since Scott had a baby, always a great time.

Maybe I don’t hate working as much as I thought, dragging my motivation back was hard this time though.

Weeknote 250!

It’s been a nice week, starting with meeting Anna and her kids for lunch.

After ~24 hours of travel I’m back in the UK.

We flew to Cambodia from Signapore this week.

After an uneventful start to the week, on Wednesday we flew to Singapore.

What even happened this week?

On Monday we attempted to hike up Beinn Bheigier, the highest point on Islay, but the wind was a bit much when we reached the first summit, we decided not to continue on but we still had some amazing views.

I’m on Islay staying in Port Ellen and it’s beautiful.

Pitbull was one of the best gigs of my life - I’ve never been in a crowd that was so hyped to be there.

I’m finally gonna go see an allergy specialist.

I love a short week, let’s also do a short weeknote.

This week my boardgame group tried out Heat: Pedal to the Metal which is a racing game with some great mechanics for engine overheating and corners.

Our trip to Rome was lovely but actually a little too short.

I kinda forgot to mention in the relief that Grandma’s surgery went well and she’s back home now, doing a lot better.

What a beautiful week!

A very quiet week.

I did a few quick illustrations for a presentation at work, which was fun and scratched a creative itch.

We have had ants in the kitchen.

I managed not to catch Charlotte’s gross illness at all, which I’m very pleased about.

Tuesday drinks again because it was sunny and Emma’s out of the country for a few months.

Customer Products Day at work this week, it was really fun and in a completely different format.

Pancake day this week!

I completed Astro Bot which is maybe the best platformer I’ve ever played, I can understand why it got such great reviews.

On Wednesday I went to a private view with Scarlett, who I haven’t seen in ages.

Another year, another yearnote!

Heart-Shaped Food Day was this week.

Alex has been off this week and Ahmed left which means we’ve been an extra small team.

Still no yearnote for my fourth year of weeknotes.

Still a bit under the weather, still tired all the time, January eh?

I’ve been sick all week, exhausting.

We’ve got some nice January sickness going on.

My ankle is finally on the mend and I’m getting around without a crutch, albeit slowly.

On Tuesday we had some leaving drinks at work for a couple of tech directors who are leaving.

Bad news, friends.

It’s been a nice week off, we didn’t overdo it on the plans.

On Tuesday, Charlotte and I went to eat Vietnamese food and watch Rose Matafeo who was excellent 👍 It’s been a heavy board game week with Euan around.
