Ever since Norbert announced Nocterm, I wanted to use it for myself.

Lately, it looks like everybody is trying to build more or less the same thing.

The more I work with jni and native APIs from Flutter, the more I think it’s time to move away from methods channels entirely.

I’ve just published new package using JNI bindings for Play Core In-App Update API.

In this post I’ll show how to access some of the Android APIs directly in Dart/Flutter.

The news just dropped that Dart will not get macros/metaprogramming/data classes support anytime soon.

Last week I discovered a pretty fun little animations package built by @sangddn that lets you replace classic Flutter animation controller with one that follows spring-based simulations: flutter_physics.

Last year during the Fluttercon session about future of native interop I learned about this new tool called jnigen.

Not sure how about you, but lately I’ve been getting impression that Flutter ecosystem has been affected by some pessimistic or defeatist claims, sometimes even overshadowing other good news or experiments.
