Reading Thief

Over the last few weeks, I have ventured into the realm of garment making.

Well, summer is over (at least, summer break is over).

In a few days, I return to work for the 2026-2027 school year.

I read I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman for a book club, and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to stretch my literary analysis genes for something other than work for the first time in a while.

I've been spending a lot of the summer traveling, so I haven't been reading as much of my phsyical TBR as I would have liked.

I have been reading and loving Martha Wells' Murderbot series since 2022, and I am so happy to say that the newest installment, Platform Decay, did not disappoint.

My school started an exciting new program this year: staff summer reading!

We're a few weeks into the summer now, so I thought I'd give an update on how my Summer Reading Adventure. is going!

Yesterday, we had some friends over for a card game night.

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune is a cozy fantasy novel that follows Linus, a caseworker for a government organization that runs orphanages for magical children.

School is officially out for the summer, which means I am about to have a whole lot of unstructured time on my hands!
