On Sunday, Beatrix will walk out of the arena at Circus Juventas for the last time, and that thought has me up early this morning.

Tonight, we were headed over to a dinner party at our friends' place after hanging at a circus pool party.

I seem to find myself with something in my eye a lot lately.

This afternoon we all went to see the Hadestown pro-shot.

After a day filled with a lot of spreadsheets, I was happy to get some art in this afternoon!

I am pretty sure that this might be the moment that broke us as a state, after being so strong for so much.

Yesterday, we headed down to Northfield for a mini day-trip.

Ximena got a Lawns to Legumes grant for the backyard at Ashland!

I had some fantastic meetings today.

I'm feeling especially protective about theater in the Twin Cities right now.

There was no yoga today, so our morning exercise was marching in the Saint Anthony Park parade (which is an institution!)

We don't skip yoga lightly, but today was the graduation party for K, who is the granddaughter of/lives with one of my oldest, dearest friends — and we were NOT going to miss it!

Poor Patrick Rhone.

Ok, to be fair, I am a huge fan of everything Skewed Visions does.

We're in that liminal phase right now where Beatrix is both an adult and still a youth.
