2025 marked the 25th anniversary of the completion of my Walmart Project, which I did in graduate school in Alfred, NY.

Unwinding the Anthropocene #1: Knowledge, 2025 Accoya sustainable pine, glue 48 × 22.5 × 15 in Inspired by grand architectural buildings, these sculptures provide a functional habitat for the chestnut-backed chickadee, a species in decline in Emeryville.

Artifice of Power (AoP) represents the physical expression of power through architecture, anthems, and gestures.

44,281 Square Feet Available (Public Showers) In this ongoing photographic series, I “transform” vacant commercial spaces into social services and institutions, encompassing both existing services and imagined ones.

In these collaborative works with the Studio for Urban Projects, we are working on climate change adaptation in Marin County.

This project began as an auditory protest prop to be projected at the police during protests and years later ended up being a Police Mindfulness Meditation Chair that was tested by police for five months in the Emeryville Police Department in 2019-2020.
