if i had to pick a neopets character that really captured my attention the most as a child, it was probably hannah. she's a treasure hunter that's never satisfied with the last adventure and always looking for more. i really liked the pirate caves and ice…

just some things maple has done in the past few weeks.

i've been inventing a new guy to put in situations. he's not a ttrpg character, but he is a devil-tiefling adjacent type of creature. he is also a warlock, for lack of a better way to describe him. i'm working on a story with him inspired by cult of the l…

this could be technically considered a redraw of this piece. i think im finally getting closer to being able to figure out how i want to tell the story about Kal (the guy in this picture) and the weird future world he lives in. apparently via this piece of

kaitlin came over to do a puzzle and became quickly acquainted with how much of an escape artist kitty can be.

kaitlin requested immortalizing our really awesome interaction we had while passing each other by the hotel elevator during gencon.

because i have made a lot of these comics about my pets, i figure i should actually introduce them. and also i love them so i wanna talk about them and show off their quirks. violet is the newest pet in the house, so she gets two pages lol.

a fake game inventory screen featuring one of my old dnd characters, hoaka. hoaka was a warforged artificer, but he was more like a big wooden doll with an internal brass armature. his tragic backstory was that he was discovered as the fantasy equivalent…

i forgot to post this on my blog whoops. i think catti-brie (drizzt do'urden's wife) is pretty cool. this is my original design for her, though in the more recent stories i think her class changed to being more of a cleric than a ranger but because of her…

this isnt the first time i have been on a walk with maple and thought i could beat the downpour. a very nice man gave maple a milkbone treat while on our walk and then the rain cleared up immediately afterward. thank you random man for dispelling the rain…

Kitty is utlizing advanced wake up techniques.

i'm still playing a retro neopets clone and i got a pea chia because i think they're just really funny. got me thinking if i were to anthropomorphize them, how would i do it?

thinking to myself, "i want to draw a bard" but i think lutes are kind over overdone. what is another instrument i can give a random bard?

slowly rotating in my mind two new ocs, a woman that wishes she was a doll, and a doll that wishes they were a woman.

the physical pain post-gencon is pretty intense. i have no idea how long i stayed like that, but i had to wait until i was awake enough to stand up.

prefaced by, this is literally some shit that would be under a readmore on tumblr. i won't hold it against anyone that doesn't want to read this since a lot of it is gonna be me feeling sorry for myself about a bunch of shit. anyway so i turned 30 at the…

i've been updating my artfight with more characters than last year, luckily there was only one character of mine that i needed to draw a new ref for: Lucia.

yesterday i had to go down into the basement to scan a form before going to bed, and was met with a surprise.

if i had to be personified as a weird little darkner in deltarune, it'd probably be ramb. idk what about his smug aura has captivated me. i might make a plushie of him in the future but for not i can feel content that i can capture his weird little expres…

another fashion study, more of a hatching/texture study with felix and in an action pose. this piece made me realize i tend to represent magic very abstractly in my art, and done so with a lot of circles/circular imagery. a lot of magic in my illustrations
