Hey, I'm back in Barcelona.

Today I'm finishing the work portion of my stay in the land of the samurai, and so far it's been a great experience.

After almost 3 months, I'm finally done with Module 5: Responsive and Behavioural CSS.

I haven't reached any important milestones yet, but it's been a month since I started working on this so I thought I'll give a short update on how things are going.

I've wanted to have a mini-life for a long time, but for one thing or another I've been postponing it.

I just started a new task: Working from Japan I'll be in Tokyo most of July and August having a mini-life.

I never thought I'd be creating a framework, but here we are.

I just started a new task: Making a Web Application Framework I've been making apps for a while now, and I'm starting to repeat myself.

I just completed the task Configuring a self-hosted Nextcloud server.

Today's update should be more uplifting than the last, because I've done some progress!

I just completed module 4, which was all about flexbox.

It's been 3 weeks since I started working on this, and...

One of the apps I've been trying to ditch for the longest time is Dropbox.

I just started a new task: Configuring a self-hosted Nextcloud server This is something I've wanted to do for a long time, but for one thing or another I kept postponing it... until now!

I just completed the task Housekeeping 2023.

The last thing I wanted to do before calling it for this task was to review my entire backlog of tasks (which, as you can imagine, is enormous 😅️).

The last couple of weeks I've been doing some much needed maintenance in my infrastructure.

In module 3, the course takes a small detour from pure CSS to foray into the world of building UI components.

Ironically, the first thing on my chores list was to follow-up on Umai's release.

I just started a new task: Housekeeping 2023 After being stuck with the same task for almost 3 years, I've been piling up some chores.

I just completed the task Attending FOSDEM 2023.

Well, as the FOSDEM organizers aptly said, it's a wrap.

And that's it, I've officially spoken at FOSDEM 🥳!

Today I'm giving a talk at FOSDEM: From Zero to Hero with Solid

I just finished two more modules of the course: Rendering Logic I & II.

I've been to FOSDEM twice, in 2019 and 2020.

I just started a new task: Attending FOSDEM 2023 After 2 years online, FOSDEM is back in person!

I just completed the task Implementing a Recipes Manager using Solid.

The day has finally arrived, I'm finally closing this task!

Hey, I bet you didn't expect to hear from me again this year (I didn't either).

Here we are about to finish 2022 and this task isn't finished yet.

I have a love/hate relationship with courses and educational resources.

I just started a new task: Learning CSS After 10+ years making websites, you'd think I already know CSS.

I just completed the task Growing Vegetables.

Now that we're well into autumn (although it doesn't feel like that over here!)

Hey, so now that summer is over and I'm heading back into a more productive season, I thought it was time for a new update.

Now that we're right in the middle of Summer, I thought it's about time that I gave an update on how this is going.

Just in the nick of time, here it is, the beta release!

Here's a short update on what's happening with the plants.

I'm very confident that in the next update, the app will be ready for production.

If you thought the task on formatting devices was out of character for this site, now I'm going to journal about gardening 😅.

I just started a new task: Growing Vegetables I've wanted to grow vegetables at home for a long time, but for one reason or another I wasn't able to do it until now.

Today I'm happy to report that I'm done with features for v0.1!

I just completed the task Attending Laracon EU.

And that's a wrap!

I just started a new task: Attending Laracon EU This year, I'm attending my first in-person Laracon ever!

I'm not done with the app yet, but last week I worked on something that I thought would be interesting as a stand-alone update.

I just completed the task Formatting devices with LineageOS.

Well, that went a lot better than I imagined!
