Nathan Snelgrove

Great ideas, aggressively ok execution.

What an absolute mess of a movie.

The Rashomon structure doesn’t work at all.

I am not ashamed to admit I laughed really hard at this.

I don’t know if thrillers get much better than this.

My favourite Cap movie (maybe favourite MCU movie) is still The Winter Soldier, which had the benefit in hindsight about being right about Nazis in Washington.

Really cool graphic and visual design!

It’s just not funny, or particularly interesting.

Holds up, although I liked it less the second time around.

Indelible imagery and technically impressive, with great performances by most of the cast, but this is one of this times when the sum is less than the whole.

Really good filmmaking.

First Predator movie for me.

Incredible performances (especially Leto, holy smokes) in a film that looks great, considering the budget.

Excellent at what it does.

The sort of film that you bathe in and absorb, as opposed to a film you observe from a distance.
