A small cry for help

Just want to be very clear, although I am struggling mentally and am feeling very very low, I am not claiming to be perfect through any of this.

My parents, much like the relationship we had with their respective families, could not have been more different when we were young.

Obviously a lot of this is from other people's comments and perspectives about the time, but some is also fact or my own memories!

So, I'm 2 days in and whilst there's loads left to say and explain I don't want to rush through this process.

The final straw that has pushed me over the edge and left me in the dark place I am in, happened a few weeks ago now!

I guess the only place to start is to introduce myself, I'm a late 40s guy married with 2 grown up kids and a dog.
