Another week gone past.

I use FreshRSS to manage all of my RSS feeds.

I’ve been working on making it so I can self host my own music library over the last few months.

With my recent unemployment, I’m returning to a blog post idea I had a few months ago.

So, I’ve been working on my music collection and it is really coming along.

I really think I’ve gotten better at writing since school.

I’ve changed the naming scheme a little.

So, I use Hugo for this site.

My favorite television show of all time is The West Wing.

Happy Thanksgiving!

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends.

Free at last?

This is my 200th post in 2025.

For years, I’ve just used the Kindle app to read on my Android or iPhone.

So, I used to read a lot more.

So now that I’m actually self hosting my own music collection (which I’ll write more about soon), something I’ve noticed is that music sounds better now.

I’ll admit, that I like having a lot of subscribers.

I’m going to start sharing some of the music I’m listening to.

I don’t even know what I did this week as I sit down to write this post.

So, I wrote in one of my link posts that I had decided to buy a Platinum Preppy fountain pen.

I have been publishing a new post every day since mid September.

So, I’m in the process of rebuilding my music library so I can finally get away from music subscription services.

Aurora Borealis Nov 12 2025 I live in Michigan and this is my first time seeing the Northern Lights in 40 years.

So, for the last few months, I’ve used Hyvor for the comments on this blog.

If you look at the end of this post, you’ll see that I now have something new on my site.

I was watching a video today typecraft, and he used a word “idempotency” that I’ve never heard of before.

Well, two weeks in a row is a streak, right?

So, when trying to come up with a topic for today, I had several in mind.

I’ve been trying to read the Dresden Files for over a year now.

I’ve finished my reread of Ready Player One, which was this month’s book of the month for The Bookies, so I’ve moved onto another book on my list.

I know that this is a reply to a reply, but I just had to say: same.

I spent the evening working on an app called Poster.

All I have to say is that, unless you’re mom is a horrible person (there are cases like that, we all know it), you should listen to your mom.

I talked last week about how I planned on doing this weekly wrap up thing.

Remember a few weeks ago, I wrote about how I had these plans to read a literal ton of books in October?

Every year since 2012, I’ve participated in NaNoWriMo.

I’ve been writing about notes, note-taking, and notebooks a lot lately.

I feel this.

I’ve written about notebooks a lot in the last couple of months.

I really like to blog.

I’m resisting buying a new keyboard.

I’m filling up my Field Notes notebooks quickly, so I’ve been on the lookout for my next set.

The other day on The Linux Cast, we talked a lot about security, and one of the things that we talked about was changing your password.

So, a few days ago, I wrote about how my bookmarking system is a mess.

Back in June, I wrote a post about how I had started keeping track of certain habits.
