This text is a counter position to Why Eating Animals Cannot be Wrong I view animals as moral patients.

In this post I pictured a situation between two partners where the sleep of one partner would be disrupted through an unwanted consequence of an action by the other.

This text is based on: Why eating animals cannot be wrong There is harm that is done to the animal world that is absolutely necessary, i.e. necessary for survival.

This text is based on: Why eating animals cannot be wrong My argument is based on the assumption that killing an animal for food is really the same as indirectly killing animals through any other aspect of our lives.

This title might sound a little controversial but hear me out.

A moral standard that I cannot possibly live up to is moral standard that I am not willing to accept as true.

There are questions about the external reality to which I cannot have an objective answer.
