A while back, I shut my Minecraft server off, and moved onto other projects.

Welcome to the world of using Mastodon, Akkoma, GoToSocial and deciding that none of them do all of the things I’ve always wanted to do with software on the fediverse.

Recently, I wrote about how I was “shutting down” my store and moving on from Second Life, potentially, indefinitely.

It was wild, it was nuts, it was the most ambitious project ever!

Although many people still call “X” by its birthname, the … original rightsholders?

I listen to a lot of true crime.

As one or two people may know, along with others that have seen it in passing, I’ve been trying to make it a regular thing to start streaming my gameplay on stream.place.

The Sims has been a franchise that’s been with me since the mid to late 90s.

So, I’m sure a lot of people, or at least some people, remain apprehensive.

First it was Sony’s announcement that they’d be phasing out discs for their games completely, and then it was their doubling down on this straight from an out-of-touch suit, saying something along the lines of, “This is what gamers want.”

Welcome to a new era of my website, mkultra.monster.
