Jackie and I attended IWAENC 2026 in Cremona, Italy, to present our papers on RIR interpolation in the latent space and vocal source separation from multi-singer music mixtures.

One of the final project teams of my Spring 2026 course, CS448 Audio Computing Labs, won 2nd place in the inaugural challenge at DAFx Conference (Task A: estimation of physical parameters of a plate reverb model from its impulse response).

I visited three research groups in Japan this summer: my colleagues at Yamaha (forgot to take a picture), NTT Communication Science Labs, and Kyoto University’s Speech and Audio Processing Lab.
