Just sharing a cool photo of yours truly from the Haverford Music Festival this weekend…

It took me a minute to realize that the image on the cover of Wink, the new LP from Gentle Hen, is literally a wink.

Musically, “Silencio” is a bit of a rehash of “Vertigo,” but I give U2 credit for speaking to truth to power with the video’s implicit critique of ICE.

I keep getting the follow three bands mixed up.

I like this new one by Gentle Hen.

First, this is kind of funny: When folks refer to my band, DelCobras, as “The DelCobras,” I wonder why it’s so hard to drop the “the.”

A couple of artist have caught my eye over the past day or so… Mikey J, whose tunes I used to play fairly regularly on the Tweetcore Radio Hour, has a new one out called “Not the World I Want.”

For the most part, I’ve given up doing interviews with bands, but once in a while, an artist or project with a compelling story will catch my eye.

As I may have mentioned earlier, Kelly Kintner has started a new print newsletter called The Horse’s Mouth.

This song’s pretty cool: Behind the Lines of Reason It’s by Hardwicke Circus, whom I interviewed a while back.

Very excited about a project I’m working on with John Gilbert of Voodoo Planet.
