I’ve had a lot of critical and overly introspective thoughts in my head lately.

🎄 Update 12/26/23: Christmas was lovely.

I got incredibly lucky and was able to get a perfect replacement monitor (WG D9200) from an Arcade Projects user.

Good news: The chassis was sent out to Sharp Image Repair, successfully repaired, and sent back to me safely.

Drumroll please.

So much of it is pure garbage.

If I look around while hanging with my friends and every one of them is on their phone, it instantly makes me sick.

This one is different because even though it’s an “arcade game” it’s not a “video game.”

People don’t really make personal websites anymore.

When I put a MiSTercade in my Versus City, one of the games that caught my eye was Capcom Sports Club.

If you didn’t already know, there is a ton of variety when it comes to inputs on arcade games.

Do I need coffee?

There is something really interesting to me about mundane old stuff.

Gabe brought his CPS3 here one day and said I can just keep it in the Versus for a while.

I set up a Jellyfin server for my family.

A had a guy come to check out my monitor.

The other day my coworker was blown away when I told him I can get any old fighting game he can think of on my laptop within a few minutes.

Here’s where I’m at.

💡 I have since switched to just using Jellyfin for music, since I already run that for my movies and TV shows.

My Naomi set up arrived.

I think the best thing I ever did for myself was turn an old PC my grandfather gave me into a home server.

A while ago my dad and I spent hours spraying this thing with Simple Green and wiping it down with paper towels.

It’s been a while.

I saw it for sale at 6:15AM and by the end of the day I bought it.

To make a long story short, Pixel 5As commonly suffer from motherboard failures.

When someone described what I’d be doing on the night shift, I was kind of hype.

🚨 I know it says that I don't know anything about this game in the next paragraph, but it's borderline embarrasing how misleading some of the following information is.

I am one of the fags who likes a good video game shirt.

This is a small update but enough has happened that I think it’s worth writing about.

All 6 buttons work on both sides.

So I just don’t have button 3 wired up at all.

I kind of already knew it was fucked, but I didn’t want to get ahead of myself.

I am known to have very strong opinions about technology.

FINALLY, all the buttons work.

Small update.

With the help of my friend Gabe, we were able to actually get a good look at the monitors last night.

It finally arrived.
