Since I started my artistic journey—for real, not just as a hobby—I've tested and used a bunch of different painting/drawing apps, for both macOS and iPadOS.

Today was pretty calm Saturday.

Whenever I feel like needing inspiration and motivation for drawing or painting, I always look at Eliza's work.

Earlier today I saw Jedda's post about this challenge called Blaugust, where essentially the goal is to write a blog post per day, in August.

It's been a year now that I've been using Rebelle (6 and 7) for most of my paintings and I love the way its default shortcuts work.

Lately, I'm slowly trying to get back to sketching, and by sketching I mean ink sketching, on real paper, like the that time I attended Peter Han's Dynamic Sketching class.

Yet another slow week.

Another week has gone away.

This week I restarted my daily practice paintings.

The good folks over at the Glaze app development team announced today the release of Glaze 2.0.

Yet another week of PleinAirpril, and again, definitely a fun challenge, and a bit addictive, but still, every day I think about to give up.

This week was pretty much all about PleinAirpril, so far I managed to do 7 paintings in 7 days, it's a fun challenge, but I need to remind myself to keep it simple, try not to over-render and over-complicate things.

Zac Retz has a podcast now where he is interviewing other artists.

Somehow I manged to continue my daily painting challenge.

What a productive week this one!

A bit late this time around, as I was on travelling mode.

This past week was a bit too fast, well, at least it felt like that.

I always wanted to keep a public log of some stuff I did during the previous week, and I don't know why I never actually tried that, so here I am, trying that.

This level took me more days to complete comparing to the previous one.

This week, I started my 8-weeks Beginner Japanese crash course!

Five days after completing level 1, I just finished the level 2.

I saw this demo from my favorite artist; Eliza Ivanova: I didn't know the term "foreshortening".

The first year I had all of my time dedicated to art was... weird?

This year was full of new discoveries, from new bands to "old" bands I've never heard before, to bands I knew existed but never actually give it a listen.
