For the last 2 years I served as part of the Code of Conduct (CoC) committee of Bioconductor.

In the blog post of CRAN files, I initially explored the database (mostly around CRAN_package_db()).

Sunday I was a bit down before going to Salzburg, as I was considering if spending my monthly salary in a week for useR!

After the previous post collecting information about repositories I want to collect here my thoughts on adding a package in a repository and how repositories are recognized.

I write this post after several weeks/months of consideration of why I am feeling a burden when I contribute to the FOSS community, mostly the R community.
