Well, I just realised it’s been a while since my last blog.. life seems to go by faster and faster when you have kids and get older!

From Sal we sailed to mindelo, I had never been here before but encouraged by friends who are anchored there with their 50m restored sailing ship we set sail.

We had some problems with our fridge unit, which meant our stay in Las Palmas was prolonged a bit.

As usual, I want to do too much, and the days are too short.

We continued beating into headwinds and big waves, finally reaching A Coruna with a few days to spare.

After endless hours of maintenance, repairs and somehow trying to fit all of the tools, spares and other things we have accumulated over the years of having Europe as a home base onboard.

We hang out for a few days in the south of Norway around Egersund.

From Alden we set sail to Bergen, a full day sail and one to remember!

Our crossing to Norway was lovely, a gentle breeze from beam reach pushing us across some left over cross waves as the Faroe islands slowly dissapear on the horizon.

Sunday is our weekly big cleaning day, so far all our longer crossings seem to align perfectly.
