For quite some time, Microsoft did not enable several of the UCPD.sys features described in my previous blog posts on Windows 11 Enterprise.

In my previous blog post, I explained the functionality of the UCPD.sys driver when it was at version 2.1.

When I wrote the article about UCPD.sys, I had already noticed the references to the UserChoiceLatest registry key, and in earlier versions, even to UserChoicePrevious.

Since I have released SetUserFTA, many users struggled to find the correct ProgID to associate with an extension or a protocol.
