Just Needs Varnish!

I’ve now finished the second batch of items I wanted to get done during the Season of Scenery community painting challenge and this time it’s all railway-themed stuff.

While I’ve been working on scenery as part of the 2026 Season of Scenery challenge I’ve had a few tanks on the go as well, since I can slap mucky washes on buildings and tanks (and myself) at the same time!

This is another catch-up post while I’m busy working through Season of Scenery bits and pieces.

Since it’s now August, the first month of the 2026 Season of Scenery community painting challenge is now over.

Still trying to catch up with some stuff that’s been painted for a while!

In the run up to the Season of Scenery painting challenge I’ve been finishing off a few bits and pieces, but have got a bit behind with blog posts.

That’s probably not a blog post title that you see often!

In recent years I’ve been gradually adding generals and HQs to my Boxer Rebellion and colonial forces.

Having made reasonable progress with my 20mm steampunk/Victorian Science Fiction forces recently I thought it was maybe time to start working on some heavy support units.

Over the last couple of years March for me has been “Maritime March” where I catch up on painting model ships.

Still on with steampunk/Victorian Science Fiction stuff, although this time it’s fire support for my troops rather than automatons.
