One Man's Notes

The inevitable fate of a work PC you haven’t used for some weeks…

We may be heading toward the autumn term, but spotted summer persisting on my commute this morning.

Family game afternoon.

Farewell, old comrade.

Oh, this is good: Again, again.

Dragged myself out of the house, to the beach, and actually enjoyed the blustery weather.

The web never forgets, yet it can be incredibly fragile, too. 14 years of my work just vanished from the web.

Nice memento to take home from the Isle of Wight.

A treasured possession from a long time ago…

As I load the shelves on my new home office, I am being rather forcefully reminder of the old adage that buying books and reading books are two separate, and only loosely connected, hobbies.

Morning brew.

Most CMSes and apps standardising on Command K as “Add Link” is a daily boon to my life.

Attack of the giant snail.

I do like the little dog in the cup at Laughing Dog.
