I'm working on adding a distraction free writing mode to OutPost in order to get maximum use of screen real estate on smaller devices.

Selfishly adding an OutPost iOS feature to hide the Summary field on non-article posts in order to save some screen real estate.

I'm thrilled to share that new releases for OutPost on both Mac and iOS TestFlight are available for download.

I love when a user takes the time to reach out and share an idea for one of my apps.

Given the success I've had with OutPost, IndieKey.id, and Hugo, I'm sort of considering changing my blog setup to use it instead of my Clodd CMS.

A big thanks goes out to @ilyess for reaching out and letting me know that OutPost was having challenges authorizing on sites that use IndieKey.id as a login identity.

As part of the new OutPost TestFlight release, I also made a small update to the Mac app to keep it in parity.

I added a character/word count feature to OutPost today and have decided to "officially" release the Mac version to the public (no longer calling it a beta).

For those who are curious, I'm working on an OutPost update to make working with blogs that only advertise the Micropub protocol (like Pika, Blot, Hugo, and Dobrado) more pleasant.

I released a small update to OutPost for the Mac this morning that fixes the following: ⌘W now closes the post you're writing instead of the whole window.

We finally took the recliner chair that I rehabbed in after heart surgery to Goodwill today.

Doing some OutPost testing this afternoon, I was pleased to discover that the app kind of works with Pika.page too, though not quite as feature complete as it is for some other blogs.

I wrote a post back in January about falling into a creative slump, and that even when trying hard to climb out of it, I still felt like I was losing ground.

I spun up a site to centralize all of my Mac/iOS apps this afternoon, mostly to have a place for the necessary pages OutPost will need for iOS Test Flight and Mac beta test distribution.

Excited to say that we’ve been approved to adopt Dice and Moo Chi, the two cute rescued Chihuahau pups we met yesterday.
