Dan's thoughts

My last post was in December, 2024.

Previously I've done day1 and day2 in Zig.

Onwards to day 2, we're looking at reports!

Inspired by my brother's post about his efforts solving AOC with Rust, I thought I'd share my adventure with Zig.

It’s not about the app.

I'm sitting at an airport, sipping a cappuccino, waiting for my flight to board.

Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss is one of those books that you wish you had read sooner.

I bought "Make Time" 4 months ago, mostly because I felt that I never have time to do what I really want to do.

A while ago I read The Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande.

I just blew my own mind, accidentally.

I've been having a bit of trouble writing Rust recently.

This has been brewing for quite a while.

This past two weeks I've been off work - yearly PTO and everything.

Some days ago there was a long discussion about generics on one of the Discord servers that I frequent.

I've been working in IT for over a decade now.
