This turned out to be our first really nice day on our trip.
-
The day began with a song, through my morning haze it sounded familiar, Heather later told me it was “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”.
-
After another good night sleep and kind of a slow morning we went for a walk around Eliot and Kristine’s house.
-
At last, I got a chance to sleep in.
-
I was able to sleep a little bit more on Saturday morning, but I was still out of bed by 7.
-
I was looking forward to a long nights sleep, which I needed.

After work I went home, threw the rest of my stuff together, I missed my bus downtown (or it just never came, who knows).
-
Time for another trip.
-

-
I got a call from the impound lot of Sunday afternoon.

The final day only entailed about an hour or so on the road, at least, that was about when I think I got home, I was pretty tired.
-
I ended up visiting with Isaac most of the morning.
-
The sleeping in the car thing actually worked out pretty well, I got a good night sleep and woke up early and a ready to roll.
-
I finished the Omnivores Dilemma today.
-
So the big news on day 7 came in the afternoon.
-
After sleeping in, I set out to find a place with WiFi.
-
So, for starters, here’s the updated plan that takes into account the delayed shuttle launch and the rest of the trip.
-
Carol didn’t get to do any driving on day 4.
-
I started the day out with a hardy breakfast thanks to my Grandmother.
-
I started the day off by sleeping in.
-
So, I started out the day fulfilling my electoral duty, going down to city hall to file out an absentee ballet.
-
It was a dark and stormy night… and tomorrow I’m starting my longest solo road trip ever with Carol, my 1986 Nissan 200SX.
