In Verb Noun Adjective, the admirably confusing Rybread has set Yet Another Meta Parody Adventure adrift in a set of sprawling optimization puzzles so haphazardly juxtantipodal that the many individually winning qualities haven’t coherently set.

This was my first Infocom game.
-
this is a short game about a vampire in a cyberpunk world. it kinda has a puzzle and it kinda has a meaningful choice at the end but mostly its just, i guess, a character study of an ultra cool (or so she would like us to think) vampire assassin. the first

I was expecting this game to be harder than it actually was based on Mathbrush's review, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it was very stable, didn't crash when it wasn't supposed to, and in general behaved as I expected it would, with some nice twists

If you are a completionist who happens to encounter this game, then you will find the title to be 100% accurate: The end is your escape from this muddled, nonsensical mess.

IF Derby An amusing concept.

High School Reunion This is a well-done texture game with a lot of short, branching paths.
-
Residual Income This is a vampire heist tale with vivid imagery and a clever twist.
-
Black Thumb This is a brief parser game that reminded me in positive ways of Baby Tree or Out, parser games that are short and symbolic and which may be a bit buggy (although this game is more optimistic than Baby Tree and Out was better coded).
-
Money for Girls may be my favorite Porpentine game I've ever played.
-
I think this one is best appreciated if you know something about Sara Weiss, the real person whose work this game is based on, and her real book this game is based on: Journeys to the Planet Mars (1903).

Ass in the Woods This was a brief Twine game that had a cool-looking background, colored text and text effects, and some impressive moments of description.
-
The Copper Tavern A lot of times when I'm making a game, in the first day or two I'll make a toy model with some of the items and people in it just to play around (like for Never Gives Up Her Dead, one of the first things I did was make Frankenstein from…
-

This game reminded me of I Am Prey, a bit, since you have to avoid a monster (in this case, a boss) that is hunting you do systemetically.
-
New Captain This Twine game has a lot of complex systems together with some fun story snippets, but perhaps could have used more of its extensive setup.
