I was going to write something today that I saved in my notes but instead I’m just going to link this small text from a Computer Science teacher.

Continuing my quest of replacing tools/apps I use with personal versions tailored specifically for me and me only, this weekend I built three new tools to replace shortcat, jankyborders and zoxide, named shorts, contour and zoink, respectively.

This is cinema (literally).

Yesterday I went to a Torresmo festival.

Most people won’t like it because of its slow pacing and somber theme, but I think that these were its strengths and the reason I liked it.

After helping my wife break a padlock on a garage door and accidentally finding myself at a motorcycle and rock event with my mother and grandmother over the weekend, another week begins.

I expected a beautiful, calm game about loss and grief and got a beautiful, tense plot-twisty horror game about loss and grief.

I liked it; I felt scared in some moments, and the last scenes were strong.

I liked this second one better than the first, felt more entertained by it.

Yesterday the first class of my programming course was held.

Tomorrow is my first day as a teacher!

Went to McDonald’s today to try the 2026 World Cup hamburgers.

Arsenal finally won today after two consecutive losses, one being a Carabao Cup final and the other an FA Cup quarter-final.

As the days pass by and with everything happening in the developer world, it seems to me that leaning towards using battery-included frameworks/languages/runtimes will be the best way to build software in the future.

Some might consider this one a dull, boring, and “nothing happens” type of movie, but I don’t necessarily view these as bad.

A perfect example of a movie that just could not be done today as it was done and in the way it works.

Finishing this game left me with a void in my soul.

Great korean detective style movie, with all the sort of stuff you usually find in those and with fewer flaws than most.

A very beautiful, fluid metroidvania.

The beautiful, tragic life of a simple man, whose slice of life we observe through a fantastic cinematography.

Great movie!

I enjoyed it but it kinda fell short on all of what were supposed to be its stronger points: The liminal space vibes, the horror and even the emotional side felt weak.

Pluribus is the exact type of media I love.

My take on Stranger Things is that it’s been consistently entertaining and reliable from start to finish.

With a story mode second only to the original Inazuma Eleven story (mostly because it depends on it for a successful delivery), this is hands down the best Inazuma Eleven plot there is.

One of the best movies of 2025 for me, and the best whodunit one.

I’ve been playing Persona 5 Royal for quite some time now.

Plot is kinda weak but he is in fact a good boy.

I’m not a good metric for these because I’m biased so I like those conjuring movies.
